The map is not a survey but instead shows approximate property lines with a goal of being within 30 feet of accurate on average. The basemaps that can be displayed include the Google aerial and USGS topographic map. One of the best features of the map is the ability to turn on a geolocation symbol that will follow you as you move around the property.

Map Tips

1. To turn on the geolocation symbol that will follow you as you walk around, tap Menu ==> My location.

2. To display a high resolution USGS topographic map, click the basemap button (next to the Menu button) and select "USA scanned topo".

3. To display the Google aerial, click the basemap button (next to the Menu button) and select "Google aerial".

4. To display contour lines on top of the aerial, first display the Google aerial. Then click the basemap button and look under the "Overlay" heading. Mobile users will need to scroll down. Select "USA main contour lines" and "USA intermediate contour lines".

5. If you are using the map offline, then you will not be able to change the basemap or turn the contour lines on.
